Ioanna Constantinou

Ioanna Constantinou was born in Athens. She pursued her education by studying Interior Design at Doksiades School, under the guidance of teachers D. and C. Mytara, P. Zoumpoulaki, Y. Loverdos, and G. Georgiades. Additionally, she studied Painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts, learning from prominent instructors such as D. Mytaras, Y. Moralis, and D. Kokkinides.

In 1981, she received a scholarship from the French government to further her studies at Sorbonne University Paris I, specializing in History of Art and Art Conservation. In Greece, she served as an assistant professor in the Art Conservation Class at TEI of Athens and held the position of Director for four years at the Manuscripts Laboratory of the National Bank’s Cultural Foundation.

Since 1995, Ioanna Constantinou has devoted her time exclusively to painting. She has held nine solo exhibitions in Greece, Norway, England, and Austria, and her artwork can be found in significant private collections.
