Τον Ιανουάριο του 2023, η Αθηναϊκή εξτρίμ κολλεκτίβα, The WOTHROSCH Collective, κυκλοφόρησε το πρώτο full length της άλμπουμ ‘’Odium’’, υπό την Ολλανδική Hammerheart Records.
Ένα χρόνο αργότερα, η κολλεκτίβα οπτικοποιεί το άλμπουμ της μέσω της εικαστικής φωτογραφίας, σε συνεργασία με τη φωτογράφο Jane Φώτου, σε μια έκθεση με τίτλο ‘’Odium Magno’’, όπου κάθε τραγούδι παρουσιάζεται ως μια και μοναδική φωτογραφία, αιχμαλωτίζοντας τον λυρισμό των θεμάτων του.
Επιπλέον, τα έργα συνοδεύονται από μια νέα αποκλειστική μουσική σύνθεση, επίσης με τίτλο “Odium Magno”, λειτουργώντας ως alter ego του άλμπουμ “Odium” όπως αυτό μπορεί να ακουγόταν σε ένα παράλληλο σύμπαν. Κατά αυτόν τον τρόπο, η έκθεση στο σύνολό της μετατρέπεται σε μια multimedia art installation.
Η ‘’Odium Magno’’ θα παρουσιαστεί στην γκαλερί Art Zone 42 την περίοδο 18 – 27 Ιανουαρίου 2024 και έχει ως σκοπό να εξερευνήσει τις σκοτεινές πτυχές της ανθρώπινης κατάστασης, καθώς οδηγεί τον θεατή στα ‘σκιώδη’ μονοπάτια της εσώτερης αβύσσου της ψυχής.

The WOTHROSCH Collective - “Odium Magno”
In January 2023, the Athenian-based extreme act, The WOTHROSCH Collective, released its debut full-length album, “Odium”, via the Dutch Hammerheart Records.
A year later, the Collective will present the album through the medium of photography, in collaboration with hotographer Jane Fotou, in an exhibition entitled, “Odium Magno”, where each track of the record will be represented by a single photograph, encapturing its lyrical themes.
Furthermore, the exhibition is accompanied by a newly-composed musical piece, once again entitled, “Odium Magno”, which will act as the album’s alter-ego and will stand as a reflection of how “Odium” would sound, if it existed in a parallel universe. Thus, transforming the whole photographic exhibition, into a multi-media art installation.
Like the album, “Odium Magno” aims to explore the darkest facets of the human condition and to take those who experience it, through the shadows and farthest depths of their inmost abyss.
“Odium Magno”, will be hosted by the Art Zone 42 Gallery, from the 18 th – 27 th of January 2024.
