The group exhibition opening on 24 September at Art Zone 42 is called ‘After Sun’, a title that brings back memories of summer holidays and suggests the passage from hot midday to cool dusk. At the same time, it also refers to the reconstitution of mind and body that September brings with it as a transitional month between summer and autumn.

Five artists, Anastasia Ginaki, Tasos Dimos, Henriette Engels, Nora Kaissi and Vassiliki Pantazi, create scenes and impressions of land, sea and sky, with bright colours evoking moments of calm and playfulness from the summer. Some of the works contain a discreet human element, while in others, the viewer becomes the protagonist. Together, the works awaken unique recollections, preserving for a little longer the sense of a carefree summer.
